MINIATURE DONKEYS We were visiting a farm one day and they had a couple of miniature donkeys. We thought they were the most adorable creatures we had ever seen; and fell in love instantly. Miniature donkeys are very loving and affectionate and can turn a bad day around. We started out with 1 jack and 1 jennet. We have added 3 jennets and 1 baby. Our donkeys are our friends and love our attention each day. Miniature donkeys are very easy to maintain. They need clean, fresh water, hay, a small amount of grain and shelter. We have large, grassy pastures for ours to run, play and graze on, but a smaller area would do. Love and attention are very important when raising a miniature donkey.
